You know what’s funny?
It took me a few days to realize what Celebrity was doing…
Remember those cruise lanyards we all wear like we’re at summer camp?
Yeah, none of that here!
And then it hit me – you wouldn’t parade around your luxury yacht with a card around your neck, would you?
Speaking of yacht vibes…
let me tell you about this décor!
The carpets?
Pure artwork.
We’re talking soft, sophisticated patterns that belonged in an art gallery.
Nothing loud or tacky – just these gorgeous, subtle designs that made everything feel so…
elevated.
Y’all, this carpet was so plush, our luggage wheels were leaving little trails like we were rolling through fresh snow!
And the SMELL.
How do I even describe it?
Pure.
Clean.
Like “new luxury car” meets “high-end spa” meets “heaven.”
The lighting in the elevators and common areas was perfectly designed to complement these incredible furnishings.
Everything was so high-end that I kept thinking certain areas were “specialty only” – but nope, it was all for everyone!
Now, let me tell you about this library…
So I specifically chose the 9th deck because the library on the 10th deck opens up to this stunning atrium view.
Picture this: you’re six floors above all the entertainment, in this cozy sanctuary with games and books, watching everything unfold below.
People would just drift off in these comfy chairs, living their best lives.
And don’t even get me started on these hanging basket chairs where you could cuddle up with your sweetheart – so romantic! (Kicking myself for not getting pictures!)
Okay, confession time…
I broke my “no movies on cruise ships” rule.
But y’all! Picture this: 11 PM, a gorgeous 200-seat theater, just my hubby and me, watching “Pieces by Piece” by Pharrell.
In the middle of the ocean!
The film was incredible (seriously, add it to your must-watch list), but there was something magical about having this pristine theater practically to ourselves in the middle of the night in the middle of the ocean.
And speaking of magical… our cabin…
But you know what?
That deserves its own email entirely.
