Part 1:
The Secret to Flawless Traveling
When it comes to traveling and seeing the world, why do some people absolutely crush it? And why does everyone else seems to be stuck with mediocre travel experiences (or none at all)? What is their secret?
I’ll tell you exactly what the secret is…
A few years back my husband and I spontaneously gassed up our car and took a weekend trip to New Braunfels, TX (right outside San Antonio) – which is about 3 hours from our home in Houston. The goal was to spend a day at the monstrous water park there, eat some good food, enjoy the San Antonio nightlife and get some quality time with each other.

And that’s exactly what we did, and we had a great time!
Only problem was, it wasn’t worth the money!
We unexpectedly spent a grand total of $2,421.62 for the weekend! Although we had fun, after you add up gas, hotel, water park admission for two, and food, and drinks, the entire weekend placed us into a financial bind with very little to show for it. My credit card was maxed out, and ultimately we returned home with more debt (and resulting stress) than when we left.

If I had to do it all over again, with what I know now we would have spent 6 days & 5 nights on the soft white sand beaches of Bali, Indonesia! I’m talking a Four or Five Star Luxury Villa with a private pool, overlooking the mesmerizing sunsets in Bali — complete with round trip air, ground transportation, tours, all the food and drinks we could handle and entertainment!
We would have planned ahead and taken off of work so that we could take advantage of weekday pricing (which is incredibly lower than weekend travel).
This means having an exciting pre-vacay weekend in Houston, spending Monday through Saturday in paradise. Returning home Saturday night and still having Sunday to reflect, reset and pick the next getaway.
Imagine returning to work on Monday completely revitalized and inspired for the next vacay.
And to top it all off, this trip to Bali would cost close to the same $2,421.62 as the San Antonio trip (and we’d probably still have money left over)!
Which would you rather spend over $2,400 on?

San Antonio or Bali?
Although I love San Antonio, I’d pick Bali in a heartbeat. Absolutely!
So what happened?
Why did we take the San Antonio trip instead of spending the same amount of money and experiencing paradise in Bali?
We were suffering from two words…
Travel. Blocks.

At the time we had numerous Travel Blocks circulating within our minds, preventing us from getting the best bang for our buck and the best experience for our time.
Without knowing, we were letting our current “reality” sabotage our desires to escape our daily life, enjoy paradise, and do it all over again at a later date.
The secret is, everyone you see traveling the world and enjoying every corner of this earth, has identified the Travel Blocks in their life and has overcome them.
But what exactly are Travel Blocks? And how do you overcome them so you can start traveling like these guys?
I’ll tell you more, in Part 2.
Peace and Love.
