But you have to promise not to tell Carnival…
I just got back from the Celebrity Silhouette, and oh. my. goodness.
I’m still pinching myself over how incredible it was!
I know what you’re thinking –
“Isn’t Celebrity for the fancy-pants crowd?”
That’s exactly what I thought!
But let me tell you, this experience completely blew me away.
Maybe it’s because I’m embracing my “grown and fabulous” era (hello, 40!), or maybe it was the romantic getaway vibes with just my hubby and me.
Whatever it was, I’m officially hooked.
First off, they recently gave the whole ship a gorgeous makeover, and it shows.
Everything has this elegant-but-not-stuffy vibe that made me feel like a million bucks without the stuffiness.
And can we talk about the beds for a second?
They have CASHMERE mattresses.
Yes, you read that right – CASHMERE!
I literally tried to figure out how to stuff one in my suitcase (kidding… mostly 😉).
The food? chef’s kiss I’m still dreaming about it.
And the service?
Let’s just say I felt like royalty without the crown.
Everyone was so attentive and genuine – none of that forced friendliness you sometimes get.
Now, I have to confess something…
I went into this cruise with some pretty low expectations about certain things, especially the entertainment.
And wow, was I wrong!
But that story… well, that deserves its own email.
Let’s just say I owe someone a BIG apology for my assumptions!
