✈️ Flights from Houston, Texas (preferably)
Example:
Bali in September? 7 nights, departing Houston = under $1500 total.
Jamaica in October? Thursday-Monday, 4 nights = same budget.
Same trips in July?
Different story.
Prices shift based on when you go and how long you stay.

HOW TO LOCK IN YOUR DEAL
STEP 1: FIND YOUR DESTINATION

STEP 2: BUILD YOUR PACKAGE
- Click “Packages” at the top of the page OR hit the 3 lines menu
- Enter your airport, destination, dates, and how many people in your room
- Go to Filters and type in the hotel name
- Click on it and choose your room type
NEVER click “non-refundable.” Trust me.
STEP 3: CHOOSE YOUR FLIGHTS
Pick times that work WITH your trip, not against it:
✈️ Departure: Early morning so you arrive BEFORE check-in (beat the crowd)
✈️ Layovers: 1 or less, 2 hours max
✈️ Return: After check-out (11am), so pick anything after noon
STEP 4: ADD GROUND TRANSPORTATION
Book it now. One less thing to worry about.
STEP 5: EXCURSIONS (READ THIS)
If your trip is more than a month away, you can wait to add excursions. Want to save more money? Add them now.
Rules:
- NEVER book excursions the day you arrive unless it’s after 6pm (but I still wouldn’t)
- Always leave a day to rest and enjoy your resort
- Rule of thumb: 1 excursion per every 3 days. 2 excursions for 4 days. You get it.
STEP 6: DOUBLE CHECK EVERYTHING
Read it OUT LOUD if you have to. Check:
- Dates
- Names of everyone in your room
- Birthdates
- Destination
- Resort name
- Room type
- Airlines, departure city, and times
This helps you catch mistakes YOU WILL MAKE. I’m serious.
STEP 7: ADD INSURANCE & PAY
Insurance = WORTH IT. Don’t skip this.
Best payment option? Credit card. Pay it back on YOUR terms at a slower rate than any payment plan system out there.
Hit submit and wait for your confirmation.
STEP 8: SAVE EVERYTHING
SCREENSHOT THAT CONFIRMATION SCREEN. That’s your confirmation number for your entire Expedia booking.
The hotel will send their own confirmation number. The airlines too. Those emails will come soon – check spam AND text messages. Keep ALL those emails. NEVER delete them.
